Mount Demerdzhi like layer cake, composed of shales, conglomerates and limestone. This is the most ancient rocks in the Crimea. As a result of weathering and the impact of precipitation on the hillside formed gigantic pillars, reminiscent of the famous stone statues of Easter Island. The most characteristic sculptures of people visiting these places gave their names. There is and Catherine II,  the Sphinx,  Gnome, Giant, the frog, and many others. There are many freakish sculptures collected in the so-called Devil's meadow. The most prominent figure - Catherine the second, looking into the distance.

Climbing is better to start from the village of Radiant. Up leads ecological trail. Admission is 5 - 10 hryvnia.
